The Advisory Center for Women Victims of Violence in the Municipality of Agioi Anargyroi Kamatero will be part of the already existing nationwide Network that includes 44 Advisory Centers 20 Hostels and the 24-hour telephone line SOS 15900 The Network is under the scientific monitoring and supervision of the Research Center for Equality Issues KETHI designed and monitored through the operation of the Executive Coordination Group EOS of YKOISO and the General Secretariat for Equality and Human Rights SGIAD the competent body for the Prevention and Combating of Violence against Women and is part of the National Strategic Framework for Gender Equality and in particular the National Programme for the Prevention and Combating of Violence against Women and based on the Council of Europe Convention on the Prevention and Combating of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence as ratified and in force by Law 45312018 Objectives of the Advisory Centers of the GSIF Network which constitute first-line services is to address and combat violence against women and multiple discrimination; to provide counselling services to women who are or have been victims of gender-based violence and multiple discrimination; and to implement actions to prevent phenomena at central and local level.
