The purpose of the Main Subproject 1 is the substantial energy upgrade of the buildings that make up the complex of EPAL N Moudania Today these buildings are classified in a low energy efficiency class H and have excessive energy consumption The proposed upgrade includes critical tasks such as thermal insulation, replacement of frames and upgrading of heating and cooling systemsWith the completion of the interventions the EPAL N Moudania will be transformed into a sustainable and energy efficient building complex This upgrade will achieve a Reduction of Energy Consumption through the improvement of thermal insulation and the installation of new energy efficient heating and lighting systems Reduction of CO2 emissions from the use of Renewable Energy Sources RES and the application of energy saving technologies such as photovoltaic systems and modern lighting bodies Promoting a Circular Economy through the efficient use of resources and the integration of sustainable practices in the operation of the building complexThis energy upgrade will not only improve the energy efficiency of the school complex but also the overall quality of educational conditions by offering a healthier and efficient environment for students and teachers
