Promotion of the Ottoman Bath of Ioannina Phase B The building of the Ottoman Bath marked as a monument is one of the earliest surviving Ottoman monuments within the Fortress of Ioannina and is directly connected to the area of the NE acropolis and the complex of the Mosque Aslan Pasha Mendreses Estia and Library which is a unit of preserved Ottoman monuments with religious and educational use The building constructed in the 17th century has the usual layout of hamam baths and is preserved today semi-ruined but with the possibility to be restored morphologically to a significant extent With the proposed repair works of fixing and restoration it becomes a visitable monument that highlights the architectural type of baths in an even and visual way and is part of the upgrade of the wider area of the NE acropolis for the creation of a cultural parkshare on FacebookTwitterLinkedinEmailreport an issue
