The Municipality of Piraeus with this Act aims to implement an intervention which, utilizing the most modern technological capabilities, will create the basic infrastructure of the integrated smart neighborhood platform in the development based on the basic infrastructure of value-added services in individual sectors that are priority included in the smart city plan Energy, Waste Management etc. In the installation as well as in the operation and efficiency control of new generation IOT sensors in individual application areas in the pilot operation of individual management and remote management systems and the evaluation of their effectiveness in supporting services and achieving the objectives for better management of everyday life and improving the quality of life of citizens, businesses and visitors.
