The project concerns the restoration of the Zambeliou building in Lefkada and its formation in a center of letters and arts The Zambeliou building is built according to the system of Lefkadian antiseismic constructions as they are certified by the 15th centuryThis technology preserves and preserves the structural tradition of ancient Greece The building has been declared preserved FEK 319Δ741992 and is located within the historic center of the city of LefkadaThe building is two-storey The ground floor has a surface according to the survey 29464 sqm and is stone with walls 060 cm thick The floor has a surface of 25974 sqm and is constructed entirely of wood The plot has an area of 76050 sqm The renovation works of the building will be done according to the study carried out with absolute respect to the existing structure of the building and according to the instructions given in FEK 319Δ741992 On the ground floor of the Zambeliou house there is the reception The garden area of 44440 sq.m. will be configured so that it can be used for cultural events without losing its character.Finally, the project includes the supply of furniture and audiovisual media for the equipment of the Zambelia house as well as the connection with public utility networks, so that after its renovation for the creation of the Zambelios Centre for Letters and Arts of the Municipality of Lefkada can have full operation.
