The proposed project concerns the fixing of part of the walls of the Castle of Lamia that extend to the south and southwestern part of it along with their rocky background For the fixing of the rocky slope on which the wall is based, anchoring measures will be applied and increasing the consistency of the rock mass with grouting and cementation The works for the fixing of the wall are directly linked to those of the rocky slope as the wall is founded on it For the fixing of the wall, cement-based grouts will be applied to achieve an increase in the mechanical characteristics of the masonry and metal anchoring elements The works that will be done concern minor additions to the positions presented in the plans of the approved study with the aim of fixing and protecting the wall and avoiding further damage and loss of features of the walls
