The proposal also significantly strengthens the operational capabilities of the EKAV of Alexandroupolis and the EKAV of Kavala, which is now required, due to the new conditions, to significantly exceed the operational readiness levels of the pre-COVID19 era, at the same time as it is called upon to develop new capacities for the management of health crises, e.g. in pandemic situations of natural technological or man-made disasters of major accidents.
