Apprenticeship of the post-secondary school year EPAL NEET 15 to 29 years of school year 20252026 Vocational Education and Training VET is an integral part of Greece's education system and its overall upgrading effort constitutes one of the priorities of this educational policy The priority given to VET has a dual role professional and social The professional role is directly linked to the national effort for productive reconstruction focusing on knowledge and work and concerns the preparation of graduates so that they are able to successfully enter the profession and at the same time contribute to the improvement of the business and work environment The social role concerns the preparation of graduates for life and is a prerequisite and serves perfectly the professional role as it aims to enable the active creative participation of all students in the educational process and to create an attractive educational environment that meets the high requirements of VET The Act aims to improve the relevance of education and training systems with the labour market to facilitate the transition from education to work and to enhance vocational education and training systems and their quality The implementation of the Act will contribute to smoother preparation of EPAL graduates so that they are able to successfully enter the profession and at the same time contribute to the improvement of the business and work environment The conclusions that will be drawn from the implementation of the Act and its evaluation will be used as feedback for the continuation of the apprenticeshipshare on FacebookTwitterLinkedinEmailreport an issue
