The Green Point of the Municipality of Serres is included in the Local Waste Management Plan of the Municipality of Serres, which was approved by Decision No 3982016 ADA OX4HΩ10ΨE1 Decision of the Municipal Council of Serres and has been included in the Regional Waste Management Plan of the Municipality of Serres by Decision No 2202016 ADA 6EEP7PLPY3 Decision of the Regional Council of the Prefecture of Serres. with the EWC codes of Table 2 of Legislation 14122017 while the green and bulky waste and other recyclables collected from the planned Recycling Corners and the recycling bins of the Sorting System will be temporarily stored at the Source for their transhipment at the KDAY of Serres or their further disposal. The layout of the green point was made by assessing functional and aesthetic issues such as the visual isolation of bulky inert and green materials so that there is no visual or other burden for citizens who want to visit the green point.
