The proposal for an Act, in accordance with the Approved Strategic Planning and Operational Planning of the Municipality of Chalkida, concerns the creation of a Green Point as a basic pillar of a new waste policy in accordance with the new National Waste Management Plan of the European Convention on Human Rights, contributing greatly to the promotion of preparation for reuse and recycling.The Green Point will be an organized area of the Municipality of Chalkida demarcated and configured with appropriate infrastructure and equipment so that citizens can deposit separately collected recyclable municipal waste, eg paper, glass metals, plastic fabrics, edible oils or used items, clothing, furniture, electrical and electronic equipment in order to promote them for recycling or reuse.
