The project concerns the establishment and operation of a Physical Detoxification Center in Heraklion and its funding is foreseen through the program Crete 20212027 for a period of 36 months The operation concerns measures to improve the accessibility, effectiveness and resilience of health care systems and the proposed new structures will be implemented with a view to strengthening the national network of structures and services to address dependencies, widening the geographical coverage, creating access to health services and in remote areas, meeting the needs of people who until now were not receiving health services and especially vulnerable groups, but also raising awareness of local communities about dependencies, early intervention, treatment, lifting of social exclusion and social integration of former addicts or people under rehabilitation.
