The present act entitled Smart Lab Ptolemaida 20Smart Lab Ptolemais 20 includes a Maturation Studies for the extension of EKTEDEP in Ptolemaida YP1 b the subsequent tender of the project for the construction of the building nzEB YP2 and c the supply of modern laboratory equipment for the new building YP3 The new building will be of a total estimated area of 90000 sqm 300 sqm basement 300 sqm ground floor and 300 sqm floor almost zero energy consumption nZEB and will house new research infrastructures New research infrastructures will be related to the needs of the post-lignite era and the formation of a new sustainable zero carbon footprint energy model for the region of Western Macedonia Emphasis will be given to the development of cutting-ed technologies in various thematic areas of IDEP such as technologies H2 energy storage soil storage CO2 production of biogas and biomethane circular economy use of drones and robotic and artificial intelligence systems and smart buildings.
