The total regeneration of these pavements includes the following works for the demolition of an existing lining and basement layer construction of a new basement and curbs lining of pavements with cold materials of high reflectivity of solar radiation addressing the phenomenon of an urban thermal island construction of routing blinds and ramps for the movement of people with disabilities and installation of urban equipment aimed at upgrading the quality of life of residents, ie luminaires with energy upgrade lamps type LED Neutral white as well as decorative columns that operate and as parking barriers for cars within the pedestrian routing zone and waste bins Throughout the intervention area, the requirements of the current institutional framework and the more specific eligibility rules of the PEL90 call on ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities are met.The intervention area is part of the city center of Kiato and perhaps the most affected in terms of pedestrian traffic areas.In the current situation, the pavements under study show great damage to their passable surface from detachments of lining materials, blocks or slabs, as appropriate, elevation anomalies from subsidence or elevations along the pedestrian routing zone and an unsuitable height of curbstone almost the entire length of them. the above problems serving the functional requirements of their use by creating elegant and safe public spaces for the movement of pedestrians and disabled people based on the relevant specifications for their proper design and at the same time environmentally friendly
