The Act concerns the continuation of the operation of the Housing of abused women in the Municipality of Piraeus The Housing of abused women in the Municipality of Piraeus belongs to the Network of Structures for the prevention and treatment of violence against women in the NSRF Programming Period 20212027 The continuation and strengthening of the operation of the Network is an obligation for our country under the Council of Europe Convention on the Prevention and Combating of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence as ratified and in force by Law 45312018 Government Gazette 62A2018, while Article 26 of Law 46042019 Government Gazette 50A2019 provides the institutional framework for the development and operation of Housing Hostels.
