The project includes restoration works of the building of the Despotiko of the chapel of the Annunciation which are part of the south wing of the Holy Monastery of Timios Prodromos of Serres which was destroyed by fire in December 2010 The building of the Hospital which is a continuation of the south wing to the west During the fire, the wooden superstructure of the building of the Despotiko was completely destroyed and only the stone base of the Despotiko was left.
