The project aims to effectively address the pronounced problem of coastal erosion at the southeastern end of the settlement of N. Potidaia that has been observed since the early 2000s and is increasing in recent years, thus creating a particular risk issue of the coastal road as well as the fences of the coastal private buildings of the area while there is a risk of destruction of the sewerage pipeline transporting the sewage of the settlement to the WWTP. The proposed project eliminates the risk of further erosion of the coast of the near area southeastern end of the settlement of N. Potidaia which in the summer months lists about 10000 inhabitants.
