New Technologies District - Katowice Gaming and Technology Hub

The project involves the revitalization of the former "Wieczorek" Coal Mine area around the "Pułaski" shaft by creating a functionally adapted space that meets the spatial needs of the broadly defined gaming industry. The project envisages repurposing existing former mine facilities, including historic buildings with valuable architectural value, as well as the construction of a new, contemporary architectural structure intended to house a multifunctional technological facility. The Hub will include office space (for lease, co-working space, and acceleration activities, i.e., providing business support to budding, creative entrepreneurs), laboratories, recording studios, e-sports production studios, film/television studios, an education center, exhibition and event spaces, along with associated services such as catering, sports, and recreation. Additionally, the project includes the construction of an underground passage connecting historic buildings, the construction of a renewable energy system for electricity and heat production, the construction of roads and parking spaces, the remediation and development of adjacent areas, and the purchase, delivery, and installation of equipment.
