The project links social innovation with process and product innovation by establishing a youngFBZ for the training-related and professional promotion of young women. The youngFBZ goes far beyond traditional educational and consulting services and at the same time contributes to the gender-appropriate, social and economic development of the Steyr region through cooperation. The overall objective is to reduce gender pay gaps through a new vocational centre for young women. The project thus counteracts structural disadvantages and promotes equality by young women recognising and expanding their skills, pursuing (training) objectives and making the best possible use of their professional opportunities for balanced labour market participation. At the same time, the project aims at synergies with other offers, cooperation and regional networking. The activities of the project relate both to the direct target group of young women aged 18-25 from Steyr and Steyr-Land as well as to companies, organisations and regional initiatives as an indirect target group. Activities According to the needs of young women, the youngFBZ includes the following activities: · AP 1-- youngFBZ-Beratung (incl. outreach advice) · AP 2 - youngFBZ-Workshops (incl. internships, experts, role models, etc.) · AP 3 - youngFBZ-Information und Zusammenarbeit · AP 4 - Marketing, Innovation- und Projektmanagement Expected results The youngFBZ Steyr relies on a comprehensive, versatile and needs-based empowerment of young women. At the same time, regional differences in labour market policy are counteracted and synergies with existing offers are exploited through connection and cooperation. Through a planned continuation of the project, the offer can be continuously implemented and experience and know-how can be used, if necessary, for a broader roll-out.
