Brake disc coating

In summary, the advantages of the laser-coated brake disc are corrosion- and abrasion-resistant surfaces, reduced fine dust pollution and longer service life. Demand increased due to the introduction of EURO 7 in November 2026. Until then, the products must be specified, developed and tested. In 2025, 20 million new vehicles are already expected on the European market, resulting in 60-80 million brake discs to be coated. The aftermarket is so big again. EURO 7 is mandatory and therefore unavoidable. All brake disc manufacturers have to deal with this issue. Since there are many manufacturers here who fear the technology and the investment, we are becoming more and more attractive for these companies as a contract coating company.
