Thaliastraße is currently characterised by two longitudinal parking lanes on both sides of sidewalks and a carriageway with tram lines 9 and 46. There are green areas or tree plantings in the course of the Thaliastraße from Panikengasse to Weinheimergasse only on the outskirts of Schuhmeierplatz. The aim of the new production is therefore the creation of micro-free spaces, cooling measures and tree plantings, which significantly improve the free space quality and thus the local quality of life in the Thaliastraße and make a significant contribution to the shift of motorized traffic to the environmental network. Following the measures already taken in section 16, Thaliastraße from Lerchenfelder Gürtel to Feßtgasse, the section 16, Thaliastraße from Feßtgasse to Weinheimergasse and the directly adjacent Grubergasse will now be rebuilt in 2022 and 2023.
