The aim of the project is to reduce the final energy consumption in the region through efficiency measures and to provide the energy through renewable energy produced as regionally as possible. It supports the sustainable development of the region and the objectives of Burgenland's climate and energy strategy until 2030 and is divided into three main topics • Efficient building systems and building processes • Digitization, data processing, complex monitoring • New technologies and concepts for the energy transition The focus is on increasing energy efficiency using modern digital technologies for data collection, analysis and evaluation. Through regional cooperation, concrete solutions based on regional use cases are to be investigated, the results of which can be applied to a large number of Burgenland regions. The total project costs amount to €1,190,000.00 and are financed entirely through the requested funding.
