The contact point is a necessary element for the professional implementation of new programs aimed at assisting and supporting people who use drugs and other non-regulated substances with a pharmacological action. With the help of the Focal Point, we will manage and supervise the introduction of new services aimed at reducing the damage caused by the use of illicit drugs and other substances with non-regulated status and pharmacological action, as well as improving important indicators of the health of society. We want to ensure the quality implementation of the following programs or services: • establishment of a mobile clinic with the aim of bringing healthcare closer to users and taking action against diseases transmitted by blood and sexually transmitted diseases; • establishment of a centre for integrated health recovery and reintegration of people who use or have used drugs; • establishment of strong links between health and social care in the network of support services for the integrated recovery of drug users; • expansion of the activities of CPZOPD by including occupational therapists and strengthening rehabilitation processes; • Analysis of the situation in the field of food supplements with regard to the content of substances prohibited in sport with a pharmacological action (anabolics, stimulants), establishment of active participation of all actors and preparation of appropriate measures and systematic awareness-raising of the target population.
