The purpose of the investment is the purchase of aircraft for the establishment of a dedicated national primary capacity for aerial firefighting within the borders and airspace of the Republic of Slovenia. Aircraft will be continuously on standby during seasonal fires, while also ensuring fire safety in the wider EU area
