The operation includes a part of comprehensive measures to reduce the flood risk in the Drava basin, namely in the area of Ptujska Drava. The planned measures contribute to the reduction of flood risks in 4 areas of significant impact of floods (IPFR): OPVP Maribor - Radvanje, OPVP Spodnji Duplek, OPVP Ptuj - center and OPVP Ptuj - Rogoznica. The planned integrated measures to reduce the flood risk along the Ptujska Drava River will reduce the flood risk in the wider area under consideration and at the same time ensure a limited impact of climate change on the flood risk of the area in the long term.
