Reduction of flood risks along Meža and Mislinja

the 2021-2027 programming period and the project Reducing Flood Risks along Meža and Mislinja include measures: - Poljana high water reservoir (ZVV Poljana) in Prevalje, - Flood risk reduction in the area of Slovenj Gradec, - Flood risk reduction arrangements in the area of the confluence of Meža and Mislinja, - Flood risk reduction arrangements on the Meža river in the central part of the town of Mežica. The project will be implemented in accordance with the European Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027 in Slovenia Priority Areas (Objective) 2 - A greener, low-carbon Europe that is resilient and transitions to a carbon-neutral economy by promoting clean and fair energy transition, green and blue investments, the circular economy, climate change mitigation and adaptation, risk prevention and management, and sustainable urban mobility; Priority 1: 3 Green transformation towards climate neutrality and specific objective RSO2.4. Promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention and resilience, taking into account ecosystem-based approaches.
