‘Reducing the flood risk in the Vipava basin – Phase I; reduction of flood risk of Bela and Vrtojbice", is a reduction of flood risk of the area under consideration, especially in the area of significant impact of floods. The project includes part of the integrated measures to ensure flood safety in the Bela and Vrtojbica river basins, which have an impact on the floodplain. The project is aimed at reducing the flood risk of Bela and Vipava in the area of the municipalities of Vipava, Šempeter-Vrtojba and Miren-Renče. The implementation of integrated measures will reduce flood risk and risk along the treated sections. The measures are sized to ensure flood safety on Q100 flows.
