The purpose of the Learning Workshop+ operation is the integration of vulnerable target groups into the social entrepreneurship environment and the development of activities and employment in existing social enterprises.Learning Workshops+ will thus significantly promote the social inclusion of people who need in-depth consideration, have identified multiple barriers to entering the labour market and are at risk of poverty or social exclusion. More specifically, the aim of the Learning Workshops+ operation is to promote, with the first sub-activity, the practical training of vulnerable unemployed persons who need in-depth consideration in the concrete working environment of social entrepreneurship and increase their social, professional and labour integration, competitiveness in the labour market and the acquisition and strengthening of their knowledge, skills and competences. In doing so, the operation contributes to the integration and empowerment of vulnerable social groups in order to put into practice the principle of equal opportunities and avoid slipping into social exclusion. At the same time, the operation with the second sub-activity represents active support in employment, as it encourages participants who complete practical training to participate in subsidised employment with all other employers, not only those from the social entrepreneurship environment, in the form of an employment relationship, whereby the ZRSZ pays employers a subsidy for employment. The programme contributes to tackling the social and labour exclusion of unemployed people with an individualised and mulitidisciplinary approach and with integrated psychosocial assistance to strengthen general competences. This also contributes to reducing the mismatch between supply and demand on the labour market and to increasing the social security coverage of the unemployed in the target group.
