The purpose of the investment is to support the digitalisation of DO and SV in Slovenia and to establish content bases that will enable the development of IT solutions, which are one of the key conditions for the implementation of the Long-Term Care Act (hereinafter: ZDOsk-1). A special emphasis of the investment will be on content support in the development of an information system for entry points (hereinafter: VT) at social work centres (hereinafter: CSD) within a single information system. In Slovenia, DO and SV service providers (and other stakeholders) currently have different information systems that are not properly interconnected and coordinated. The purpose of the investment is to provide content support in upgrading these information systems so that they can be integrated into a single information system. The investment will also help to upgrade information systems for the efficient recording, storage, use and exchange of data by DO and SV service providers and contribute to the development of tools for direct work with people. IT systems will be in line with modern trends and standards in the field of SV, DO, community social work and deinstitutionalisation. At the same time, the investment will provide training so that key stakeholders can effectively use the new and upgraded IT systems. The objectives of the investment are: ? to provide substantive support for the establishment of the initial information system of the DO entry points and to provide training for the use of this IS for 100 employees at 16 social work centres; ? prepare an assessment of the state of digitalisation of DO and SV providers in Slovenia and prepare a research report; ? establish the content bases for the development of a single information system and prepare guidelines for the development of an information system for VT DO; support the upgrading of contractors’ IT systems by developing guidelines for integration into the single IT system; ? coordinate the development of new prototype solutions for contractors and develop guidelines for the implementation of prototype solutions; ? set up a data and analysis system for DO at the investor - Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Social Protection (IRSSV). Within the investment, substantive guidelines for the development and testing of the information system and the monitoring of its introduction to the VT will be prepared, whereby the investor will primarily take care of the content coordination and ensure compliance with the content plans and functional requirements. The implementation of IT solutions and the coordination of their technical implementation are not the subject of an investment , but a separate project to be carried out by SMEs. Due to the importance of data support for complex processes and the management of the DO and SV system, special attention will be paid to the establishment of data and analysis databases for DO and SV at the IRSSV as an investor.
