RTV Slovenia (a public institution of special importance in the field of radio and television activities) carries out programmes aimed at the blind and visually impaired and the deaf and deaf-mute in techniques adapted to them. The project introduces the use of language technologies (speech-to-text - transcription) for the automatic subtitling of TV programmes for the deaf and hard of hearing, as well as for the elderly.
