The subject of the operation is the revitalization of the city center in order to relieve the burden on the city of Slovenj Gradec, which means the withdrawal of stationary traffic, the introduction of alternative forms of access and the arrangement of open public urban areas. The investment achieves the objectives of sustainable mobility within the framework of sustainable urban strategies and the objectives of an integrated transport strategy. The operation thus covers activities in the field of comprehensive renovation of streets and roads in accordance with the principles of sustainable mobility (Measure 1), pedestrian infrastructure (Measure 3), digitalisation to promote sustainable mobility (Measure 5), and activities in the field of the use of alternative fuels (Measure 6).
