Centres for Social Work (CSD), (16 regional CSDs in Slovenia) are entry points for the implementation of the Long-Term Care Act (Zdosk-1). The tasks will start in early 2025. Their work includes assessing the needs of beneficiaries, issuing decisions and exchanging data with other stakeholders involved in the implementation of Zdosk-1. Despite the fact that the state has provided human resources for the implementation of the law, a lot of coordination, information exchange and cooperation will be required at the beginning of the implementation, which will be difficult at the beginning, since there will not yet be a comprehensive information system that supports Zdosk-1. Therefore, this operation will provide additional human resources from January 2025 to June 2027. Coordination of the operation of entry points will ensure a smooth process of operation of entry points and enable beneficiaries to receive appropriate DO services, as set out in Article 88 ZDOsk-1. The objectives of the operation are: - support for the process of establishing and operating entry points for DOs, - coordination, connection and coordination of the work of DO coordinators, - coordination, connection and coordination of the work of service providers, - coordination, connection and coordination of the work of administrative and administrative workers, - coordination, connection and coordination of the work of actors operating within all locally competent entry points for DOs.
