The purpose of the operation is to provide public health institutions founded by the Republic of Slovenia with appropriate medical equipment that will ensure faster access to diagnostic and therapeutic services, which will also enable active monitoring of patients after illness. The equipment supplied will be intended for the management of conditions in hospitals, which will also enable higher-quality and faster medical treatment. The operation in question will make it possible to replace existing worn-out and obsolete medical equipment and to purchase new medical equipment for which hospitals have approved additional programmes. The objectives pursued by the implementation of the intended operation are to modernise the equipment and methods of diagnosis, to ensure the efficient and as smooth as possible operation of medical care, to ensure quality services, safety, accessibility and equal opportunities for treatment.
