The aim of the project is to support the inclusion of 80 students with disabilities in primary education institutions in order to provide conditions for the improvement of their educational achievements, more successful socialization and emotional functioning by employing 77 teaching assistants in 9 primary schools in the city of Sisak. The above indirectly affects the reduction of child poverty and contributes to the inclusion of students with disabilities in community life and the elimination of prejudice. All of the above helps to combat discrimination and social exclusion of children, and ensures inclusive education. The partner schools will, in cooperation with the city of Sisak, carry out the candidate selection procedure and the programme of introduction into the work of teaching assistants. The City of Sisak will carry out activities related to the management and implementation of the project and promotion and visibility.
