The aim of the project is to provide financing/co-financing of school meals to pupils in primary schools at risk of poverty with the purpose of alleviating child poverty and providing assistance in the form of providing free meals to pupils in primary schools. In 2023/2024, funds were provided from the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived through the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy and from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia through the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth. The intention is to protect the standard of pupils and parents by financing/co-financing the diet of primary school pupils at risk of poverty from families who are entitled to the allowance for children of the first and second census groups.
