The procurement and continued distribution of food and material assistance packages to people in or at risk of poverty and social exclusion will contribute to addressing the material deprivation of vulnerable groups, while accompanying measures will contribute to their empowerment and social inclusion. Collected food donations will ensure the inclusion in the project of a larger number of people in need, and implemented campaigns will raise awareness of the importance of donating and preventing food waste. The project will cover a minimum of 10,593 persons receiving guaranteed minimum benefits and national benefits, as well as pensioners and persons below the at-risk-of-poverty threshold in the NUTS 2 region of Pannonian Croatia.
