The Port Authority of Novi Vinodolski, in partnership with the City of Novi Vinodolski, is implementing a project to reconstruct and upgrade the primary breakwater in the port of Novi Vinodolski, with the partership of the ‘Podbaran’ coastline, with the aim of protecting the port’s waters from dominant winds and rising sea levels, in order to ensure the safety of connections and the wider coastal area in all weather conditions and to increase the capacity of utility berths. The project contributes to the economic development of the city of Novi Vinodolski, bringing benefits primarily to the users of port services and the local community. The total value of the Project is estimated at 16,855,810,73€, of which the Port Authority and the City jointly bear 1,334,395,31€ of ineligible costs.
