The objective of the ‘New Port of Korčula – Port of Polačište’ project is to modernise the transport infrastructure on the island of Korčula and improve connectivity between the island of Korčula and the surrounding islands and the mainland, as well as to create better conditions for increasing the quality of life of islanders. The implementation of the project has a positive impact on improving the accessibility of the island of Korčula for its inhabitants. The total value of the project is EUR 25,178,091.41, of which the eligible costs are EUR 24,238,314.81. The total value of the project in phase II is EUR 17,919,594.39, and the eligible costs are EUR 17,009,870.56. The planned duration of the project in phase II is 31 months, from 01.06.2023 to 31.12.2025.
