The aim of the project is to increase the number of users of urban transport, which will contribute to the further development of the city and the improvement of the standard of living of the citizens of Osijek. It is planned to continue the modernization of 9.5 km of the railway line and 9.5 km of the contact line, as well as the modernization of two and the construction of one rectifier station, the construction of an underground cable network and the modernization of 23 tram stops.
