The purpose of the project is to increase preparedness for disaster management by strengthening the capabilities and capacities of operational forces in the Republic of Croatia (hereinafter: Croatia) through the procurement of one (1) multi-purpose equipped helicopter, assembly hangar and associated equipment for the needs of the civil protection system as well as training of operational forces and civil protection system participants to use multi-purpose equipped helicopter and equipment, for action in the event of emergencies, major accidents and disasters. Helicopter support to the civil protection system will thus ensure the ability of all operational forces and civil protection system participants to operate in a timely and efficient manner in the event of emergencies, major accidents and disasters
