The modernization of the system will establish a reliable system of alerting the population, in order to avoid casualties and reduce the consequences, and such a system will be a support to the civil protection system. The project will modernise the siren-based public alarm system in more densely populated areas and particularly endangered areas in the Republic of Croatia by modernising, procuring and installing equipment, i.e. acquire 185 new electronic siren, 21 new central devices containing software for monitoring and managing siren and new equipment necessary for modernising 217 existing siren (of which 55 electronic and 162 electric motor).
