The project led by PharmaS d.o.o. includes a partnership with the Faculty of Food Technology Osijek, Vinarija Trdenić, Wines Markota, Polyclinic Osijek and Polyclinic Labplus2 to explore the possibility of using grape tropics, waste from wine production, for the purpose of creating food supplements. The aim is to develop formulations that would help relieve the symptoms of allergies and the consequences of lack of sleep. During the project, it is planned to optimize the process of preparation and extraction of grape tropics for the maximum yield of phenolic compounds, which are known for their health benefits, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It strengthens local innovation and production capacities, as well as the circular and food-saving economy.
