The renovation of the Žnjan plateau is a strategic project that will, through the revitalization of the neglected plateau into the largest green sports and recreation zone on the coastal part of the Urban Agglomeration of Split (UAS), improve the quality of life and identity of Split. The project will create the preconditions for a sustainable urban environment and a healthy environment that contribute to mitigating the effects of climate change, preserving biodiversity and integrating blue and green infrastructure. At the same time, a balanced spatial distribution of green and sports-recreational zones will be ensured, which will be available and accessible to all UAS residents and visitors throughout the year.
