The City of Sisak is applying the project ‘Segestica - Siscia Interpretation Centre’ with a value of €10,036,085.85. The implementation of the project will increase the integrated and inclusive social and economic development of the city of Sisak in the field of culture and sustainable tourism. Reconstruction, decoration, equipping and presentation of archaeological heritage will increase the number of visitors to the interpretation center by 100%. The energy efficiency of the currently unusable public building and the area of rehabilitated industrial facilities will be increased by 2,181.57 m2 through the revitalization of the neglected location of the former factory. The project will contribute to the diversity of the cultural offer and provide residents and the interested public with a new experience of archaeological heritage. The project will last 45 months.
