In order to achieve climate neutrality, the need for sustainable and cost-effective energy storage technology is extremely high. Flow redox batteries are potentially the leading technology for stationary storage of renewable energy that can be integrated into the electrical distribution system. This project will develop an advanced system for storing and distributing large amounts of energy needed to supply consumers, industry and the stability of the power grid based on the described technology. Based on the analysis of existing technologies and their own expertise, they will develop and test an improved and more energy-efficient system with innovative electrolyte and optimal control.
