The project of building and equipping the Firehouse in Malinska aims to raise the level of safety of citizens and property in the area of the municipality of Malinska-Dubašnica on the island of Krk. The project plans the construction and equipping of a fire station in Barušići in the area of the Malinska-Dubašnica municipality, the installation of 3 video cameras for early fire detection that will cover an area of 2,616 ha (60% of the area of the Malinska-Dubašnica municipality), the education of members of the DVD and firefighting community and a joint exercise on the island of Susak. The target groups are members of the Volunteer Fire Brigade Malinska-Dubašnica and other DVDs on the island of Krk, the Public Fire Brigade of the town of Krk, the entire fire brigade of PGC and the Republic of Croatia and the entire population of the municipality of Malinska-Dubašnica.
