The project will build a common centre for disaster and fire risk management on the island of Hvar, which will improve the system of monitoring and surveillance of the entire area of the island of Hvar in order to reduce the risk of disasters and fires, with a special emphasis on strengthening the capacity and operational readiness of firefighting and the civil protection system. A special part of the purpose of the center refers to the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service - Station Split (Establishment of Hvar) which in the new space would have its own office for the area of the entire island of Hvar and its archipelago. The project leader is the City of Stari Grad, while the project partners are: 1. DVD Stari Grad, 2. Municipality of Jelsa, 3. Municipality of Sućuraj, 4. DVD Bol and 5.Croatian Mountain Rescue Service - Split Station.
