The project aims to create a Competence Centre for digitalisation and optimisation in energy, resources and processes within the University of Luxembourg. The objectives of this project are to develop models (via digital twins) on energy efficiency, reducing CO2 emissions, developing new technological sensors and optimising transport, material and energy flows in industrial processes. Reducing energy and resource consumption in the production of materials/processes is the overarching objective.
