The project aims to develop a new type of custom implant for maxillofacial and dental surgery. It combines the software expertise of 3D-Side and that of Cerhum’s bone grafts. The 3D-SIDE will be used to create an automated platform, based on artificial intelligence, to allow the practitioner to quickly create a custom 3D implant for a given patient and for this type of surgery. From this 3D treatment plan carried out in a few minutes, the shape of the implant will be manufactured by Cerhum via 3D printing in an innovative and absorbable material, similar to bone. This co-development project will improve the quality of healthcare while ensuring an unparalleled speed of the process thanks to its automation and digitalization.
