The objectives for 3D-Side are the development of a new 3D communication and implant design platform tailored for maxillo facial surgery: Customize design+. This platform allows surgeons to upload their medical images. These images are then processed automatically to check their quality, select the appropriate image sequence and create a surgical plan. The software performs bone segmentation and 3D reconstruction to help with surgical planning. All supported by artificial intelligence to deliver unparalleled performance In this project, 3D-Side will access a new application (market) quickly and with large USPs thanks to the integration of different modules developed in other research projects. This project will position 3D-Side as a leader in 3D planning for the CMF, similar to what the 3D-Side team has achieved in Orthopedia. Significant growth will be generated by this project, at the revenue, team, IP and internationally renowned levels.
