As part of the WalBioPower project cluster activities in the Decarbowal portfolio, Materia Nova will develop electrodes for the biomethanization project in the underlying WalBioPower-MANO project. These electrodes will be introduced and tested in biomethanization bioreactors with the aim of stimulating the consortium bacteria that produce methane and hydrogen. The effect of the electrodes and their method of use on the composition of the consortium of microorganisms will also be studied.
